EXCITING NEWS -FREE Freedom Project Craft Workshop

There will be a FREE Project Craft Workshop session held on Friday the 10th of October from 12pm-3pm at The Lighthouse, Poole, BH5 1UG.

This session will be run by Tilly Ingram, a local writer and artist with long-term health conditions herself. The session is inspired by Freedom and what it means to us. Tilly will offer gentle and engaging activities, empowering participants to make new pieces of art using found materials, which will be provided.

This is part of Poole Lighthouse's ongoing Our Freedom: Then and Now project, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, which culminates in a new installation that will be unveiled in early November. There is the potential for any work created on the day to be included.

(Tea/coffee will not be provided but the Lighthouse café will be open)

In addition to the support we at the pain service provide, The Dorset Self-Management Service offer a FREE NHS service for people with long- term health conditions and carers to feel more confident self-managing on a day-to-day basis.
LiveWell Dorset
You can also make use of LiveWell Dorset. They are here for your health and wellbeing and will guide you to a healthier lifestyle through FREE advice and coaching.
Flippinpain
The Flippin’ Pain site a site with a campaign of changing the way we think about, talk about and treat persistent pain. It has a selection of messages and resources co-created by people with persistent pain, healthcare professionals, pain scientists and communications.
