Our medical team who specialise in pain will work with you to try and achieve an accurate diagnosis or an understanding of the cause of your pain, although this may not always be possible. They will help to ensure that no conditions which can be treated are overlooked. Once you understand understand the complexity of your pain condition in order to adopt strategies to engage with pain management techniques and continue living a meaningful life.
Medical input is then principally concerned with treating the pain with medical means such as advice regarding medications or the delivery of medical interventions such as injections where these are thought to be appropriate. In deciding whether either of these approaches is appropriate, the condition itself, along with any other medical conditions/treatments that you also have, will be considered in order to make sure that the treatment you agree to have is safe and offers you maximum benefit..

Do you need extra help?
You can opt to be contacted by a trained pain coach (somebody who knows what it’s like to live with daily pain) who can offer you additional support to help with your goals if you need it.
We are very sorry but due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to offer any new pain coaches at the moment but will endeavour to get this back up and running as soon as possible.
